Honestly
The core difference
Workona is a workspace service: an account, spaces in the cloud, and team plans on top. Latr is the opposite shape - nothing leaves your machine, there is no account, and the idea at its centre is not a space but a moment: a page you close comes back by itself when you said you needed it. If your problem is switching between projects with colleagues, Workona is built for it. If it is tabs you keep open because closing them feels like losing them, Latr is.
Switching
Latr reads any pasted list of links and any bookmarks HTML file. Open a space in your browser and save the window with Latr’s Save all tabs, which keeps its tab groups and lets you name it after the space.

Latr’s import reads a pasted list, a bookmarks HTML file, and export files from OneTab, Toby, Session Buddy, Raindrop.io and Pocket. Groups and titles survive for the formats it knows; any other file that contains web addresses comes in as a list of links. Only http and https links are kept, and anything left out is counted.
Questions
No. Latr has no account, no login and no server holding your tabs. Everything is stored in your browser’s own extension storage.
Not as a cloud workspace. You can save each project’s window under its own name, keep pages in folders, and swap one saved window for the one you are in. It all stays on one computer.

Free, no account, and nothing leaves your device. About ten seconds to install, and one keystroke to use.
