Your tabs, reminders, windows and bookmarks live in your browser’s own storage. A free install makes no network requests, and there is no server to sign in to.
Features
Latr is a browser productivity extension for Chrome, Edge and Firefox. It reminds you about tabs you close, manages the ones you keep open, saves whole windows, keeps a library of pages, and runs a focus timer that holds everything back until your break. Here is every part of it, and a guide to each.
9 guides
Close a tab with a time, and it reopens on its own, where you stopped reading.
7 guides
Every open tab in one list: group, search, de-duplicate, sleep and arrange them.
5 guides
Save whole windows with their tab groups, restore them, move or share them.
2 guides
A library for pages with no deadline, and a manager for the browser’s own bookmarks.
2 guides
A Pomodoro timer that holds your reminders and keeps distracting sites shut.
5 guides
The same tools, set up for studying, office work, research and everyday errands.
Under all of it
The same three promises hold whichever part you use, because they are properties of how Latr is built rather than settings.
Your tabs, reminders, windows and bookmarks live in your browser’s own storage. A free install makes no network requests, and there is no server to sign in to.
Access to your open tabs, bookmarks and history is asked for only when you first use the feature that needs it, and every one of those is optional.
Every part on this page works on the free version, with no cap on how much you save. Pro is a one-time payment for themes, sounds and a few extras - see pricing.
Questions
One. Tab reminders, the tab manager, saved windows, the bookmark library and the focus timer are five parts of the same extension, sharing one popup, one library and one settings page. They were built to work together: a saved window can carry a reminder, a kept page can be given a time, and a focus session can start from a folder of pages.
Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Firefox, each from its own store. Brave, Vivaldi, Opera and Arc install it from the Chrome Web Store. The features are the same everywhere, with a few small differences on Firefox: notifications there carry no buttons, so snoozing is done from the reminder’s menu, there is no side panel, and sites show a letter where Chrome would show their icon.
Yes, and not as a trial. Saving and reopening pages, repeats, the tab manager, saved windows, the bookmark library and focus sessions are all free, with no limit on how much you save. Latr Pro is a one-time payment of $19 for personalisation and a few extras - colour themes, notification sounds, automatic tab sleep, more than one quiet-hours window, three or four tabs side by side - and it gates nothing that makes a reminder fire.
No. There is no sign-up, no login and no server holding your tabs. Everything is stored in your browser’s own extension storage, and a free install makes no network requests at all.
Yes. The playground pages run the real tab tools in your browser with sample tabs: group them, close duplicates, save a window, run a focus session. Nothing is installed and nothing leaves the page.
Free, no account, and nothing leaves your device. About ten seconds to install, and one keystroke to use.
Also on Brave, Vivaldi, Arc and Opera - straight from the Chrome Web Store listing.
