in Microsoft Edge.
Snooze a tab and close it: at the time you chose, Latr reopens that exact page, at the line you stopped reading. The whole extension, from Edge Add-ons - the tab manager, tab groups and saved windows included.
- No account, ever
- Free, and not a trial
- Nothing leaves your browser
Setup
Installed from Edge Add-ons in under a minute
- 1 Install from Edge Add-ons.
One click on the listing. No account, and the install asks for no permission that warns.
- 2 Pin the icon.
Edge puts new extensions behind the puzzle-piece button. Click it, then the eye beside Latr, so the icon and its countdown badge stay in sight.
- 3 Snooze the tab you are on: AltShiftY.
The page is filed at your default time with no window opening. For a specific moment, open the popup and write it the way you would say it.
Straight answer
What differs on Edge: nothing
Edge runs the same package as Chrome, so every feature behaves the same, including the two snooze buttons on each notification. The one thing that does not cross over is your data: Edge and Chrome keep separate extension storage, and a backup file is the bridge.
Questions
Edge, specifically
Is the Edge version the same extension?
Yes, byte for byte: Edge takes the same package as Chrome. Snoozing tabs, the tab manager, tab groups and grouping rules, saved windows, the library, share links and the nine languages all work the same.
Do reminders sync between Edge and Chrome?
No. Each browser keeps its own extension storage, and there is no Latr server to bridge them. Within Edge, reminders can ride Edge’s own sync across your machines. To move between browsers, export a backup in one and import it in the other.
Do Edge notifications have snooze buttons?
Yes. Edge, like Chrome, allows two buttons on a notification, and you choose which two of the seven snooze lengths sit there.
Where do I change the keyboard shortcut in Edge?
Open edge://extensions/shortcuts and set the key you prefer for Latr. Latr reads the real binding back, so its tips always show the key you chose.
Close the tab.
It will come back.
Free, no account, and nothing leaves your device. About ten seconds to install, and one keystroke to use.
