Free is the product

Not a trial, not a teaser, and not something that starts asking for money in thirty days. Latr has no server, so the free plan costs nothing to keep running — which is exactly why it can stay free.

Free

$0 forever

The whole product, and not a cut-down version of it. Everything Latr does today is free permanently — including the parts most tools charge for.

Questions about paying

Is the free plan a trial?

No. It does not expire, it is not limited by time, and there is no reminder cap. Everything Latr does today — including sync, every repeat rule, bookmark import and calendar export — is free permanently.

Will anything that is free today ever become paid?

No. That is a commitment, not a current intention. Pro is built only from features that do not exist yet, which is why the list is shorter than it might otherwise be — anything already shipped was disqualified from it on principle.

Why one payment instead of a subscription?

Latr has no server, so it costs nothing to run. Charging a recurring fee for something with no recurring cost is difficult to justify, and most people are tired of subscriptions for small tools. One payment, all future updates.

What happens to my reminders if I never upgrade?

Nothing. Free is not degraded to sell Pro. Every Pro feature is additive, and the core loop — save a page, be reminded on it — is the free product in full.

When is Pro available?

Not yet, and deliberately so. The plan is to learn what people actually use before charging for anything — the features listed are our best guess, and early users will change it. Join the list and you will hear once, when it exists.

Start with free. It's the whole thing.

Unlimited reminders, every capture method, no account. If Pro ever earns your money, it'll be because the free version already earned your trust.
